Due to our continued growth and success, we are expanding our IT services team and have an exciting career opportunity for a Technical Sales Consultant located in Burnaby, BC. Reporting to the General manager, Cloud, the successful candidate will have technical sales and account management experience. Identifying, prospecting, and developing new and existing business is crucial to the success of the role. You will leverage your excellent communication and presentation skills as well as your strong technical background to conduct global inside sales activities effectively. The ideal candidate will work well both independently in addition to collaboratively with the rest of the cloud team.

Responsibilities: Global Sales

  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with clients, executing account plans, delivering solutions, and creating value.
  • Managing expectations and maximizing client satisfaction.
  • Participating in strategic development of assigned accounts.
  • Making recommendations for new products and processes
  • Conducting research, making sales calls and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Developing proposals and quotations for new and existing clients.
  • Keeping up with IT product knowledge and trends.
  • Managing the sales cycle from A-Z, including procurement
  • Working as part of a team. 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • An understanding of hardware, infrastructure support software, servers or installation services 
  • Knowledge of server configurations and the ability to advise customers on appropriate infrastructure in keeping with the overall business support environment.
  • An interest in technology, cloud, and solutions that are constantly changing.
  • Proven track record based on sales and customer service.
  • Detail oriented with a professional sales attitude.
  • Post- secondary education with a minimum of 3 years technical sales experience
  • Superior communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to learn continuously.
