Due to our continued growth and success at a local, national and international level, Vision33 is looking to add an experienced Business Development Specialist to our team in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The Business Development Specialist will be an experienced Marketing, Sales and/or Communications professional who will work with Vision33’s senior team to ensure that the benefits offered to our clients, and each prescribed solution, are articulated clearly, accurately and aligned with Vision33’s core values.
As a Business Development Specialist, your responsibilities include:
  • Manage the RFP process and ensure effective win themes are conveyed;
  • Work effectively with various stakeholders to collect information required for proposals and strategize in a timely manner regarding an effective approach;
  • Write, edit, and critically revise to produce high quality proposals, service agreements, and quotes for presentation to clients;
  • Create accurate and compelling case studies, references and consultant biographies;
  • Manage milestones for submission under tight deadlines to ensure that all submissions are on time and complete; and
  • Assist in the review and preparation of client final reports.
Excited to face any new challenge, you will bring to this position the following skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration, Public Relations or equivalent degree;
  • 2-4 years plus experience in the area of communications and proposal development;
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, analytical, listening, and most importantly writing and editing;
  • Exceptional organizational skills coupled with a close attention to detail;
  • Comfortable with all forms of social media platforms; and
  • Proposal process management and relationship management skills are required, including the ability to liaise with various consultants, subject matter experts and clients to obtain required information and meet firm proposal deadlines.
